Once there was a girl who ate an apple every day.
This particular apple was a cosmic apple - the best kind of apple.
As the girl finished this delicious apple, she pondered, "What should I do with the apple core?"
Her all-knowing mother said, "it's biodegradable, perhaps you can throw it in the water?"
The girl immediately threw her apple core overboard.
Wait what? Apples float?
At this point, the brother chimed in with "Haven't you ever bobbed for apples?"
He's so smart, but where was he 30 seconds ago during the previous discussion?
So the family debated: should we leave the apple core there floating in the water or go retrieve it?
The clear decision was that the apple core should be retrieved so some unsuspecting kayaker wouldn't happen upon it and be repulsed.
The girl possessed determination and focus as she narrowed in on the apple core.
She did it!
The apple core was saved, and she did her part to make the world a better place!
